| She's getting so grown up! |
| All the flowers she made yesterday. :) |
2. I'm thankful for my husband. I'm always thankful for him, of course, but some days or weeks I just really appreciate him more than others. I don't really know why. Anyway, lately I have just been falling in love with him all over again. And he's been super nice about massaging my back and stuff when I have a hard time breathing with all the back spasms and such. I am just lucky and thankful that I found him and that I have him to myself for all eternity. :) Marriage done right totally rocks.
3. I'm thankful for good food! We may be poor, but we always have food on the table. Lately we've really been eating much nicer than usual, too...mostly because I actually TRY. Hahaha. Anyway, it's always nice to have your cooking appreciated, but when Caida gave my creamy enchiladas the stamp of approval by moaning all the way through and then asking for SECONDS (she doesn't eat much, ever, so it's always a chore just to get her to eat half a small plate of anything that isn't junk)...and to have her mom even eat seconds, too!...well, it just about made my day.
4. I'm thankful for the internet. I love catching up with people on facebook, blogging (obviously), being able to share pictures and news with family all around the world at the touch of a button. Sometimes I think I may have been born in the wrong era, but then I think about the miracles the internet can do if used appropriately and I'm grateful to live here and now where keeping in touch and recording your life is so easy.
5. I'm thankful for a few small, tender mercies and all the little things this week. Like finding out my mom's visiting teacher is our primary president who I love (and I've been praying lately that she would get good visiting/home teachers), and finding out that these books on a fictional show that sound so interesting and we've wanted to read them are actually REAL (written by the fictional author of the show!)...what a gimmick!...all silly things, really...but it's what makes the world go 'round day to day. :)
What are YOU thankful for this week?
