We even got to take him to church with us. What an experience! He actually did REALLY well considering he's never been to the three-hour-long meetings before...I just wish he'd gone to nursery and played with the toys and stuff. Oh well. More snuggle time for me! Paul and I (half) joked that we felt like we actually belonged in the ward, with two kids in tow! :)
I'm not sure if I got bitten or if this was a random allergy-related hive (that I get now and again from unknown substances lurking in our own house)...but it was odd, either way. Long and forked at one end...sorry, the picture doesn't do it justice!
I found my new favorite hairstyle--classy/pretty, and EASY. If we ever get family pictures taken, I'll be doing my hair like this, for sure!
Our fuse box randomly started leaking this morning, and the ensuing crackling seems to be related to the air conditioning. I reported it first thing this morning, and was assured that it was a fire hazard and would therefore take top priority, so someone should come in before noon...surprise, surprise, no one showed up. I HATE this place!!!
But, as awful and negative as this morning started out, I still wound up fairly happy by the end of the day. Why, you ask? A well-deserved nap, choosing to forgive small offenses and instead find allies, reading my scriptures, finalizing Caida's after-school schedule, having FHE and introducing Rogers and Hammerstein's Cinderella (the Brandy version) to her, and the peanut butter cookies mentioned in the previous post. Not a horrible day.
