I need to work on enjoying the moment more, and making the most of what I have instead of feeling sorry for myself for all the things that haven't worked out the way I wanted. (I'm so spoiled sometimes. I need to have more faith in a loving Father.)
I want to do more service. (Use my talents for people I DON'T know, too...)
I want to be better about my scripture study. (FOR REALZ.)
I want to work. (And I need to.)
I want to go to the temple again. (Yay, Provo, and Paris, and CONGO...woohoo for more temples!)
On an unrelated note, someone in church recently mentioned this series of books called "6 Word Memoirs." I guess someone started this online project that sort of became HUGE (how did I NOT know about this?) in which they submitted the stories of their lives in 6 words--no more, no less.
I have a lot of fun thinking about what I would have submitted. I think it would have depended on the day. :) But, overall, at least for now, I think I'd say, "I kept trying, no matter what."
The lady that shared this said that her father (or grandfather? I don't remember) told the family he'd sum up his life in the words, "I said my prayers every day." I like that, too. :)
What would YOU say about your life, however long or short it has been so far, if you had to sum it up in a 6 word memoir?
