We had a few different sets of silverware--stuff we both had before we got married, plus one set as a wedding gift--and now that a few years have passed I'm getting sick of it. When thinking about it, I thought repurposing at least a few of them would be fun before I donated the rest to GoodWill. And, I have to tell you, I have *LOVED* the ideas I've found! Check them out!
10. Clock! Of course I would post this, we want to make a clock out of just about everything we see now! :) But wouldn't this look awesome in our kitchen?
9. Hooks! You can make them into coathooks or hooks for your curtains...fun!
8. Napkin rings!
7. Jewelry! There are a lot of these for sale, but it would be fun learning how to make your own!
6. An easy memo board!
5. Make a jewelry tree!
4. Mark your plants in your garden!
3. Place card/business card/photo holders!
2. Decorate a pot even prettier!
1. I know I've already shown this several times, but use silverware as handles like MyWonderfullyMade did!
BONUS IDEAS:
* How about this awesome flatware holder MADE out of flatware? This can be bought, but it would be fun to try to make it!
* Make a silverware windchime! This would be fun in the garden, especially if you used spoons as plant markers!
So, which is your favorite? :) I think I'm going to go do something RIGHT. NOW. Happy crafting!
